Seasonal Worker – Crew (non picking)

Casual approx 40 hour week.

 

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking harvest crew members to join our team at harvest time (mid-December to late January/early February). Our crew members work closely with our permanent staff, to supervise pickers during harvest. Crew members roles include but are not limited to:

• Packing Shed (packing fruit)

• Quality Assurance

• Buggy Drivers

• Tree checks

 

About You

• Be physically fit

• Able to start work at 6am daily

• Prepared to work between Christmas & New Year

• Available to work weekends/public holidays IF required (this is fruit and weather dependent only)

• Fluent English

 

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance related to work, health and safety policies and procedures

• Cleaning the work environment

• Supporting team members as required

 

Remuneration

Paid in-line with the horticulture award level 1 – casual rate.

 

Please Note

• This role DOES NOT offer accommodation opportunities

• This role IS NOT suitable for working holiday makers

• There is NO public transport to our orchard, you are required to find your own transport to work by 6am
